Wellness Program Highlights
We've always had a group of employees who are passionate about health and wellness, but with the launch of our partnership with UMR to provide a wellness portal, we've been able to better track participation of these wellness activities. In the first three months of launching, we've had 33% of our employees enrolled on our health plan complete at least one wellness activity. Additionally, we've seen a significant amount of spouse participation. This statistic captures the success of our communications in introducing new aspects of our program and the interest of our employees to participate.
Most Proud of ...
The greatest challenge that we face as a consulting firm, whose people are spread across the country, is keeping employees engaged in a virtual environment. We have to think creatively in the ways we communicate to our people, and we're proud to have a communication strategy that reaches those remote employees. We send out Clarkston-tailored newsletters once a month with different themes of wellness and designate a wellness champion to help promote activities for the month. In addition, we encourage project teams and people within a reasonable distance to come together and participate in activities as a group.
