Wellness Program Highlights

As our wellness program transformed into a comprehensive well-being program, Fitness Place membership and participation in our FitWorks well-being program increased. In the past year, Fitness Place membership increased 8%. In 2018, 63% of Fisher-Price’s employees were Fitness Place members, much higher than the average participation rate for corporate wellness programs. There was also a 10% increase in employees who earned a FitWorks incentive reward in 2018.

Most Proud of ...

We are most proud of how our Fitness Place staff utilizes our well-being program to increase social interaction, comradery, and create a greater sense of community on our campus. As corporations aim to keep employees engaged, create better working environments, and improve culture, we recognize that our well-being program can help provide these benefits. While our employees can utilize our facilities anytime throughout their workday, we focus on programs that bring employees together, such as small group personal training and group exercise classes. We build camaraderie through partner and department exercise challenges, group meditation, and offer FitWorks points to employees who mentor or get a new employee to join the gym. We improve company culture by showing our employees that we, and the company, care about them through the programs we offer and the financial rewards they receive.
