Wellness Program Highlights

Over the past 12 months, the Weight Watchers at Work program has contributed to a weight loss of nearly 2,000 pounds for our employees. At the beginning of each year, the NAIC subsidizes this program for employees.

In 2018, the NAIC was honored with the Cigna Well-being Award for the Midwest region. Receiving these awards is not only great for our company, but for the employees as well. Our employees are truly making the right steps to improve their help and with the support that the NAIC gives them, a majority of them will find success.

We continue to see high participation in our many wellness programs including our biweekly fruit delivery, monthly wellness activities (biking, running, yoga, high intensity training, etc.) and our annual Wellness Day activities. Additionally, we continue and prioritize our involvement in the KC Corporate Challenge as the Presenting Sponsor. Our Wellness Program contributes to our many employee-friendly initiatives, helps us maintain our low employee turnover numbers (7%), and helps us continue employee contribution rates to the NAIC’s health insurance programs that are below market.”
